Not that a 19 hour bus journey is long enough. Roughly 200k before our final destination San Martín de los Andes the bus stopped suddenly in the middle of nowhere. Oil was leaking out of the bus and the diver decided to stop the journey.
Long story short. With a bit of luck we just had to wait 10 minutes for another bus who accidently came the same way. He agreed to pick all the stranded passengers up.
San Martín de los Andes is a nice small town. Everything is trimmed to the big race tomorrow and there is a great buzz about the place. People from all over South America are here as the race is pretty popular.
We checked in and relaxed the rest of the day. Tomorrow morning we will be transferred to the first camp.
