Visual Aids 06.10 – Unknown

It is all about NYC these days. NY Daily News have an amazing gallery set up that includes some of the best pictures of 40 Years of New York City Marathon History. The above shot is taken during the 2005 race.
As seen thorugh architecture of the 59th Street Bridge, after coming off the 59th Street Bridge, a lone runner reacts to the cheering crowds as he makes his way along First Avenue.

Visual Aids 05.10 – Dean Hendler (Herbie Hancock)

Herbie Hancock last Bank Holiday Sunday in the Grand Canal Theatre was a absolute blast. It is amazing how a 70 year old is still that passionate.
The picture taken by Los Angeles based photographer Dean Hendler shows Herbie during a studio session in 2005.

Marathon Monday

It is all good when Marathon Monday is around. One could not have asked for better conditions at todays 42k around a sunny & chilly Dublin. I cycled the last miles with the leader and eventual winner Moses Kangogo Kibet and took some pictures and movies. If you want to have a look at the outcome check the worlds best running website mzungo.org.
